Project description:

Designed for a couple seeking an escape from the capital city of Mozambique. The conceptual idea arose from the clients request to have a private house that would shield them from the outside world while providing views to the scenery. This prompted the idea to place the house closer to one edge of the plot and making it the buffer between private and public outdoor living. This in turn created the linear movement through the house which made it possible for the splitting of living and sleeping giving the house its spatial diagram.
