Project description:

The house is located in a newly developed residential suburb in Matola Mozambique. The footprint of the building was conceived as two individual entities that would separate public and private zones and would allow the house to be built in stages.

This simple form elongated along the north-south axis allows all habitable rooms to feed a secluded courtyard, while acting as a inside-outside living environment.
